Her Story
From a stack of records to a room full of songs
From the time I was a very young girl, I listened to a variety of musical recordings. Everyday, my father played a large stack of records covering different genres of music — Big Band, Jazz/Blues, Novelty songs, and Country Western.
It was not until about three years ago that I realized I could add music to some of my poetry I had written. I was so excited to discover that I was able to make a song with my words and music.
